About the founder
The company's founding director, K Venkatesan Iyer, has more than fifteen years of experience in live imaging in life science research. He has always been concerned about single-use plastic waste generated in life science research. To combat this plastic pollution problem, he initiated the startup GreenFocus Research Technologies.

Our vision
The company's vision is to eliminate single-use plastics from research and make research sustainable. The company's current focus is to provide sustainable solutions for microscopy imaging. We have developed our first product - a live-cell imaging chamber (GreenDish) made entirely out of medical-grade stainless steel. This cell culture chamber is an eco-friendly alternative to single-use polystyrene imaging dishes. These imaging chambers can be used numerous times without any change in quality. We at GreenFocus Research Technologies develop solutions and technologies for sustainable research. In cases where it is not easy to eliminate plastics, we are developing technologies that can clean and reuse such plastics. We plan to expand our company to provide technologies for light microscopy, cell culture, microbiology, and molecular biology. We at GreenFocus Research Technologies strive to offer convenient and sustainable technologies at affordable prices, opening new avenues for making research sustainable and eco-friendly.
